PETALING JAYA (May 30, 2011): A 26-year-old woman was abducted, robbed and gang raped by three robbers who drove off in her husband's car with her in it at USJ, Subang Jaya early on Sunday.
The woman's 35-year old husband, who owns an event management company, briefly left her in his parked four-wheel drive with its engine running outside a convenience store in USJ 17 at about 2.30am.
It is learnt that within seconds, three men who are believed to have trailed them jumped into the vehicle. The shocked businessman rushed to his vehicle but the robbers sped off with his wife.
The victim was taken on a terror ride to several locations in the Klang Valley and was raped at an unknown location in Batu Caves.
Five hours later, the victim's attackers who also robbed her of her valuables, abandoned her near the Bukit Jalil stadium and drove off in the vehicle.
The robbers had also withdrawn RM50 using her ATM card after forcing her to reveal her PIN.
With the help of a passer-by, the woman telephoned her husband who went to her aid.
Subang Jaya police chief ACP Zainal Rashid said today that the woman was warded at the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC).
Police have set up a team to trace the car and hunt down the crooks.
Twitter users were also alerted of the incident when a relative of the victim sent out a tweet to help look for the stolen vehicle soon after the incident.
